The hotel is conveniently located near an underground tram station, the center of Villeurbanne, and the town center. the standard double room I booked had working air conditioning. - the location is great, close to the metro. - Major attractions like Double Mixte are just 2 km away from the hotel, making it a desirable place to stay.

We enjoyed the convenience of the guest room available with air conditioning. Coffee/tea making machines and glassware were a huge plus.
The area was dull.

Stunningly beautiful and faultless hotel, truly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were cosy, with multi-channel television, a dining area, and ironing facilities, lovely bed. Garden view was a bonus. The location was good, because an underground station was based near the property.

The concierge was overall quite helpful in helping us store and transport samples (for business) and also providing good suggestions on places to visit. They all generally speak ok English, and one of them even speaks fluent Mandarin! The bed/quilt is comfortable and room temperature is good (we stayed there in February). We stayed there for 10 nights.
The only problem with Ariana is really the aged facility. The elevator is slow and small (fit about 2 people with 1 luggage or 3 people w/o luggage), so if you're staying there for business be sure to ask for lower floors so you can just take the stairs in the morning. Room shower was not good at all - it got either very hot or very cold... difficult to adjust. There is no shower curtain either so one needs to try hard not to flood the bathroom. The chair in room was rocky and clearly worn- out. tv was new and good, though. There was no hot water kettle either, but concierge was nice enough to lend us one, free of charge. Didn't try breakfast - simply thought it was too expensive.

Everything was verry good: the stuff, location, comfort, value for the money, wi-fi internet. Thank you.

Great service here, they really go above and beyond. the single room has a spacious bed, a work desk, a TV, and even a kettle for making tea or coffee ☕. the location is super convenient, within easy walking distance to everything around.

The people were very friendly. Everybody spoke excellently English. The room was clean and well-maintained. The internet connection was very stable and fast, which was perfect for working.
The room was quite small and only had two wall sockets (none in the bathroom). There was a bathtub with a shower head, but there was no shower curtain or place to place the shower head; impossible to have a shower without making everything wet. The room did not close by itself; the locks and door seem very weak.

Great view of the garden and the room was really nice and comfortable. the location was perfect, just a short walk to both the train station and the city center of Lyon. It was also convenient for our work in the area 🌳.

The rooms are comfortable with modern lcd televisions but with poor international channels (only bbc).
The service is fair but breakfast is not included and expensive: it cost less outside.
